The Power of Microcontent

What's your elevator pitch?

In a world where bite-sized video platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat dominate; more and more opportunities are realizing the power in following the crowd. As a result, the era of microcontent was born.

For marketers, that means the amount of time that consumers will spend perusing your content is shrinking, so that content has to be engaging, eye-catching and quick to take in. That’s where microcontent becomes your best friend: it enables you to reach out to your audience with your message, albeit in a shorter form.

Ryan Serhant is the star of Bravo's "Million Dollar Listing NY" and "Sell It Like Serhant).

I was able to work with Serhant and his A-list surrounding team to build microcontent that brings Ryan's polished brand & insight to social.

My work isn’t out on the street and showing apartments. My work is up here, on my phone. Publicity is your reputation, and your reputation is your brand.

— Lamarr Wilson

Since 2012, I've worked with Lamarr Wilson on content development. Lamarr's fun, happy-go-lucky brand translates perfectly to social through microcontent and graphical storytelling. In partnership with Lamarr, I produced a series of clips to share YouTube highlights to followers on Instagram, Twitter, and supplemental social platforms.

No matter what you do, your job is to tell your story.
